In many cases, yes. Camera Takeover begins with an assessment of camera compatibility, system health, coverage, connectivity, and any deterrent equipment needed for live intervention.
Are OnView monitoring agents located in the United States?
Yes. OnView’s monitoring and dispatch agents are based in the United States. Event review and live intervention are not outsourced overseas.
Does OnView install commercial security systems nationwide?
Yes. OnView supports commercial security system installation for individual properties, multi-location projects, and nationwide portfolios across all 50 states.
What happens when suspicious activity is verified?
An agent follows the response procedures established for the property. This may include a live voice warning, notification to site contacts, On-Demand Guard Response for enrolled customers and eligible events, or law enforcement when appropriate.
Is 24/7 Live Surveillance Monitoring available?
Yes. Monitoring schedules can be tailored to the property, including overnight coverage, weekends, high-risk periods, or 24/7 coverage when required.
Does live monitoring replace security guards?
It depends on the property. Live monitoring can expand visibility and support earlier intervention, while some sites still need patrols, on-site officers, or guard response. OnView can recommend the right combination based on the property’s risks and procedures.
